Whenever possible, we prefer to make actual visits to the spaces where our furniture will be placed. However, when this is not possible, we work closely with clients using photographs and room dimensions to create furniture designs.
Once design and specifications have been finalized, we sign contracts with our customers to ensure that expectations and provisions have been set forth in writing. For any customer-directed changes after this point, a change fee will be assessed.
Because we specialize in creating custom furniture, we stock a very limited inventory of pieces immediately available for purchase. Typical projects require a lead time of anywhere from one month to one year.
On a typical commission, 50 percent of the total project cost is due at the time of signing, with the remaining 50 percent due either in monthly installments, or upon delivery.
Local delivery will be accommodated by J&J Kettman for a reasonable fee depending upon location. Out of state and other non-local deliveries are charged for wrapping, crating, transportation insurance to cover the full replacement value of the articles, and shipping.
